Bush Nursery Manager

Felicia is an experienced nursery and horticulture specialist who leads the Bush Nursery team at Willum Warrain. She’s passionate about Mornington Peninsula indigenous plants and environmental sustainability, with a strong focus on propagation, plant quality and customer service.

 Kristy is a proud Yorta Yorta woman with extensive experience in horticulture and grounds and garden maintenance. She loves growing and sharing knowledge about bush tucker, and brings deep care for plants and the environment to her work each day.

Volunteer Program Coordinator (Fridays)

Julie is a proud Ngaanyatjarra woman and has been part of the Bush Nursery team for four years. She coordinates our Friday volunteer program and enjoys working with people and plants while helping to heal Country. Julie also shares her knowledge of local plants with children through cultural programs at Willum Warrain and on school tours.

Melissa is a proud Ngarrindjeri woman who has worked in the Bush Nursery for several years. She enjoys learning about propagation and Aboriginal plant knowledge and, as an Aunty, especially values supporting younger mob working in the nursery.

CEO

Uncle Peter is a community Elder with extensive cultural knowledge of plants. He established Willum Warrain’s Bush Nursery six years ago. As an Indigenous educator, he is committed to teaching young mob about plants from Country and reintroducing traditional knowledge systems. He is also keen to build broader community awareness of the plants that have always been here.
